Saint Seraphim Bell Tower
Saint Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox Cathedral, in Santa Rosa, CA, was built in the 1990s, and has undergone nearly continuous remodel and beautification since then. They asked Andrew to design a bell tower to be built atop an existing concrete stairwell enclosure. It will hold their set of large Russian bells. The tower design is loosely modelled upon that of St. Catherine Monastery in Sinai, and also influenced by the belfries at the old Spanish Missions of California. Designed in collaboration with a local architect of record, with construction expected to begin soon.
