This massive oak chest sits in the crypt of Trinity College Chapel in Hartford, CT. It was commissioned to hold memorial books containing the names of chapel benefactors.

The crypt of the famous chapel is Romanesque in style, and Andrew decided to design the memorial chest in a lively Scandinavian Romanesque style - massive and full of vitality, and more than a little fantastical. It is built from quartered white oak with an ammonia fumed finish.
